The Story of The Rainbow Bridge
Rainbow Bridge - Author Unknown
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here,
that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends
so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine,
and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor;
those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again,
just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing;
they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together,
but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver.
Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass,
his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet,
you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head,
and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet,
so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross RAINBOW BRIDGE together ...
Here we say our final farewells to Boxers who have made it to there forever homes and now are in the final resting places. Over the Rainbow.
Tootsie with her baby sister before she passed away.
Tootsie was adopted from Boxer friends by the Davis family. She lived a very loving life. The Davis family adopted Bella right before Tootsie passed away, so she enjoyed her new friends for awhile. Here is what he owner had to say about her:
Toostie passed away in September. She had a tumor pushing down on her shoulder, the tumor kept growing and the vet couldn't remove the tumor. All he could do was pain medicine. In time she just got weaker. Then one week she just started getting worse quicker, she lost her control of her blatter it seemed and didn't respond to us. We talked to the vet and he said it was best to put her down. So we took her in the next day. She was such a wonderful pet.
RIP BUNZ MARCH 19, 2006
I sent this trying to type thru the tears, but I wanted you all to know that poor Bunz decided it was time for her to go to Rainbow Bridge last night. We’re not sure what happened. Maybe she just didn’t have the will to help her old body go on. But I wanted to thank all of you who tried so hard to find a place for her to go so she could get out of the kennel. She knew we were trying. She was getting out Tuesday or Wednesday, but she just couldn’t wait I guess. Thank you all again for trying so hard.
Donna
Jazz- March 2006
Jazz was a very loving and friendly dog. He got parvo and his new owner tried all she could do to have him saved. We will miss you Jazz.
Enjoy the rainbow....

Bindi was my spectacular Gentle Giant.She graced my life with intense happiness, enriching every moment, every day. Bindi came into my life when I needed her most,She help regain my strength, and brought so much emotion into my Heart. I was Blessed to have been given the chance, to experience, all that Bindi had to offer.Bindi, will for-ever remain one of God's greatest gifts to me. I am forever grateful. Every moment was a cherished moment with Bindi.She over-came many health obstacles, and had the strength of a soldier.My most cherished memories of Bindi Sue are her sun-bathing sessions, in the glory of the sun each and every morning, and the daily go-baby-go, running sessions with her brother Beaux ( The Curious Catahoula )
I have Bindi not only in my Heart, But here with me. In memory of Bindi, she has a special memorial brick at the Peggy Adams Foundation, West Palm Beach, Florida. It is a special, tranquil place, I know she would adore. She is at peace,for-ever in my Heart !
